Robert and Betsey Talbot, Owners
Rob, licensed funeral director and his wife, Betsey Talbot have been the proud and dedicated owners of the Talbot Family Funeral Homes and Scenic River Cremation Center since April of 2004. Each day they work closely together to ensure the families they serve receive only the best in care.
In July of 2005, they purchased Poeschel funeral home in Mondovi. Then in October of 2011 the business was expanded to serve families with the addition of Scenic Rivers Cremation Center and Precious Companion Cremation Care. Now if a family desires cremation, they can have the peace of mind that their love one will never leave our care. Rob is a licensed funeral director in both Wisconsin and Minnesota and Betsey is a licensed pre-need intermediary.
Debbie Meyer, Licensed Funeral Director/Certified Crematory Operator/Certified Funeral Celebrant
I am originally from the Waukesha area where; I began my career in funeral service in 2003. I moved to the Madison area where I worked for several years until I traded-in the big city for the small, quaint town of Watertown. I was endeared with the charm of small town living and made my final move to work for Talbot’s where I’m happy to call Mondovi home. I am fortunate enough to work for a team of animal lovers; where I’m able to have my 10 year old Boston terrier, Jim by my side in my day-to-day responsibilities.
I love my job working as a funeral director because I feel I can be a helpful guide to families through one of the most difficult times in their life. I have over 12 years of experience and I’m looking forward to bringing those many years of expertise to the area.
Debbie is a licensed funeral director in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
