Sung Tao "Pak" Knudtson, age 73, of Strum, died on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 1, 1944 in South Korea. Pak married Roger Knudtson in Strum in 1972. They were married for 37 years until Roger's death in 2009. Pak worked at Wisconsin Beef and Huntsinger Farms. Roger and Pak owned the Foolish Pleasure Bar, Strum for 24 years. Pak was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum and the Strum VFW Auxiliary. She was an avid Brewers and Packers fan and enjoyed watching them. Pak enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing cribbage, going to the casino and spending time with family and friends. Pak will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. She will be forever in our hearts.
Pak is survived by her family, Jerry Knudtson of Stum, Donna (Blaine) Mortimer of New Richmond, Ronnie (Cindy) Knudtson of Pueblo, CO, Dennis (Sue) Knudtson of Strum, Carol Mock (friend, Duxie Back) of Strum, Mike (Tara) Knudtson of Strum and Pat (Karla) Knudtson of Eleva, Cheri (Larry) Nelson of Strum, Dawn Christianson of Strum and Joy (Karlyn) Rudy of Eleva; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Scott; other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; mother and father-in-law, John and Ethel Knudtson and nephew, Josh Mortimer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Foolish Pleasure, Strum starting at 1:00 pm. Pak will be laid to rest next to Roger at St. Paul Cemetery, Strum.
