Shannon Glyn Beebe

Shannon Glyn Beebe born June 16, 1971 died unexpectedly on October 23, 2025.  Shannon was born and raised in the Rock Falls, WI area and attended Grandview Elementary and Durand Junior/Senior High School.  He later graduated from the Truck Driver Training School at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire in 1991 at the top of his class.  After vacationing in Alaska, he loved its beauty and decided to move there. In 2005, he moved to Alaska where he resided until February 2022. In Alaska, he utilized his knowledge of various skills – electrical, plumbing, roofing, metal work, brick laying – and built his own home. After returning from his great adventure in Alaska, he lived with his sister, Kelly, in Gilmanton.

He has always been very mechanically inclined. As a Jack-of all-trades, he took pride in helping family, neighbors, and co-workers with repairs on cars, small engines etc. as well as helping with building and construction. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and did maintenance in Alaska. At Symrise Foods he worked in production and then the warehouse.  A classic car enthusiast with his most recent pride and joy being his 1976 Corvette. Shannon also enjoyed traveling and hunting.

He will be greatly missed by his brother, Shawn A. Beebe; his sister, Kelly L. (Beebe) Loewenhagen; Brothers-in-law, Kenneth A. Stevens and Rory J. Loewenhagen; Niece, Nicole M. (Blake Turner) Loewenhagen; Nephews, Justin T. (Anna Mauer) Loewenhagen and Jared A. Beebe. He will also be missed by his beloved great nephews, Keegan K. McRoberts and Cyrus C. Loewenhagen; great nieces, Karlee B., Brynlee M. and Nora Belle Turner; and his good friend who has been like a brother to him since early childhood, Lonnie C. Bauer and his son Lance, along with many other family and friends.

Shannon was preceded in death by his parents, Glyn E. and Violet L. Beebe; sister, Gina M. (Beebe) Stevens; ex-wife, Christine D. Polden and ex-sister-in-law, Renee D. Mosay Maki.

The family would like to send a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Shannon’s co-workers at Symrise that were like family, Local EMT’s, the Mondovi Fire Department and the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department for assisting with this tragic event. Your care and expertise are greatly appreciated.
