Sara Elizabeth Krolak

Sara Elizabeth Krolak, born on June 12, 1991, in Hammond, Indiana, passed away on December 15, 2025 at 12:12 am at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A proud graduate of Munster High School in Munster, Indiana, Sara moved to Cochrane, WI in 2022.

Sara filled her ten years as a bartender at Sheffield's with an infectious energy and warmth that transformed the bar into a second home for many. She regarded her patrons and friends as family, pouring not only drinks but also laughter and joy into their lives. A true embodiment of the phrase “life of the party,” Sara delighted in making those around her smile.

She carried the spirit of adventure into every facet of her life. Sara was her father's cherished fishing buddy. Her visits to Buena Vista Park, where she delighted in observing the majestic eagles, were also cherished moments that filled her soul. Sara also loved to create chaos in the kitchen while cooking which was a past time that she always enjoyed.

Above all, Sara was a devoted mother, and her proudest accomplishment was the love she shared with her only son, Aidan Cole Krolak. Sara poured her heart into motherhood, ensuring Aidan was enveloped in love, laughter, and countless memories. She loved passing on the joy of life by dancing, singing, taking trips to Wisconsin Dells and other types of 'tom foolery'. She also took great joy in caring for her beloved cat babies, further reflecting her nurturing spirit.

She and her fiancé, Josh, went on many adventures together, and Sara was looking forward to creating many more family memories in their recently purchased home.

Sara is mourned by her fiancé, Joshua Bare; her son, Aidan Cole Krolak; her parents, Kevin and Marilyn Krolak; her sister, Laura (Shane) Stok; her brother, Stephen (Sara) Krolak; and her niece and nephews, aunts and uncles.

She joins her beloved grandparents, Marcella and Richard Ciecierski, and Jack and Eleanor Krolak, who have preceded her in death.

Sara’s bright spirit, immense heart, and boundless love have left an indelible mark on her family and friends. Her life serves as a beautiful reminder to cherish every moment, laugh often, and embrace the world around us fully.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
