Phyllis A. Kohlman

Phyllis A. Kohlman, age 79, of Modena, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at her home.

She was born on June 5, 1944, the daughter of the late Emil and Lucille (Berger) Bauer.

On September 5, 1966, Phillis was united in marriage to John Kohlman.  To this union, four children were born.

Phyllis would enjoy spending time tending to her flower gardens, going to auctions with her husband to search for antiques or putting puzzles together.  One of her other enjoyments that Phyllis will be remembered for love of bird watching and journaling all the different birds that she would see. 

Phyllis will forever be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in providing a loving and nurturing home for her family.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her husband, John; two sons, Daniel Kohlman (Kelly Damrow) and Gerald Kohlman (Christine Sheldon); grandson, Garrett Kohlman (Fiancee, Jayden Lewis); brothers, John (Alice) Bauer and Bob (Tammy) Bauer; sister, Carol (Duane) Becker; also by her very special nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Kohlman; daughter, Deborah Kohlman; brothers, Emil Bauer, Jr., Isadore Bauer, Leonard Bauer, Lambert Bauer and James Bauer; sisters, Gertrude Bauer and Mary Schenkenberger.

A celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held at a later date and will be announced when planned.
