In the early morning hours of December 16, 2025, Paul T. Heck went home to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior. What a Christmas celebration that will be!
Paul was born on February 27, 1959 to Earl and Ruth (Elbert) Heck in Mondovi. When he was born, the nurse said to his Mother, “He is going to be a farmer, look at those big hands!” When it came time to go to school, his first grade teacher suggested to his Mother that he take first grade over-he was farming too much! After graduation from high school, he went to full time farming with his parents. After a few years, he went to St. Paul Bible College for 2 years, always coming home on weekends and summers to help farm. He was a lifelong, hard working dairy farmer. He was as honest as the day is long. He was always kind and helpful, ready to help anyone who needed help. He grew up in Zion Lutheran Church, Mondovi. His faith was deep and strong. He wore out one Bible, had it rebound and wore it out again. Many, many books showed his hunger to grow in his faith. He was very interested and supportive of Missions.
Left to mourn his passing (but not as those who have no hope) are Paul’s siblings, Judy, Karl (Audrey) and Tom (Joanne) along with nieces and nephews, Rachel, Spencer, Angelina, Catherine and Joshua and family and friends. He was preceded in death by Paul’s parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, Mondovi. Visitation will be two hours prior to Services at the Church on Monday. Burial of cremains will be at Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who helped in any way over the course of time as Paul battled Alzheimer’s Disease, especially his angel helpers, St. Croix Hospice, neighbors, relatives and friends.
He has finished the race and run the course.
