Patricia Hannelore Serum

Patricia Serum (née Frese), age 57, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026.

Patricia was born on January 2, 1969, in Bad Ems, Germany, to Doris and Siegfried Frese. In 1989, she married the love of her life, Dale Serum. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. In 1995, Patricia made the journey to America, where she would spend the rest of her life creating deep connections and becoming a beloved member of her community.

Patricia dedicated many years of her life to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a profession she truly loved. Caring for others came naturally to her, and she touched countless lives through her compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Her work allowed her to form lasting bonds within her community, where she was known not only as a caregiver but as a trusted friend.

Patricia's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her husband, Dale Serum; her daughters, Christine Serum and Chelsey Serum; and her faithful dog, Opie. She also adored her beloved "puppy grandchildren," Crowley, Remi, and Scout, who brought endless happiness and smiles to her days.

Patricia will be remembered for her kind heart, her sense of fun, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She was a friend to everyone she met and had a gift for bringing people together. Whether through a helping hand, a warm conversation, or a shared laugh, Patricia made the world brighter for those around her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porky's Pub. In honor of Patricia, guests are encouraged to wear purple, her favorite color.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love, laughter, and kindness Patricia shared throughout her life will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
