Patricia M. Moyer

Patricia M. Moyer, age 68, of Mondovi, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Homeplace of Mondovi. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Green) Prokopinski, born on May 13, 1955, in Stanley, Wisconsin.  Pat attended Spencer High School.  She then furthered her education at Mid-State Technical College, earning her Associate Degree in Data Entry. Years later on September 3, Pat was united in marriage to Bobby Moyer. They blended families and went on to have two additional children together.  Pat worked at Goodwill for many years. She loved to chat and collect thrifty things like porcelain dolls and Beanie Babies. In her spare time, if she wasn’t at home relaxing in her favorite recliner watching the Harry Potter movie series, you could always find her out and about at one of her three favorite local spots, McT’s for a chicken strip basket and shake, Double D’z for a hot cup of coffee, or Grayz’n Buffalo for an iced cold Mountain Dew.  She loved playing bingo and putting puzzles together during social hour with her friends at the Homeplace. She also enjoyed her alone time playing games on the computer, doing word puzzles such as sudoku, fill in the blank, and word search, and going for cruises in her car listening to country western music…especially, her favorite singer of all time, Conway Twitty. She loved being treated to a good Chinese buffet whenever she had the chance and spoiling  herself with a late night snack of either Bugles, a Mounds candy bar or two, or, on special occasions like Christmas, her favorite sweet treat, chocolate covered cherries.  Pat is survived by her children, Jimmy Howell, John Howell, Tina Howell, Louis Moyer and Martha Moyer; several  grandchildren, great grandchildren, her siblings, Judie Jacobs, Rosie Backaus, Frank Prokopinski (Rose) and Cyndi Rumminger (Tommy Barcelos), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

 A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Talbot Family Funeral Home in Mondovi from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
