Melinda Suzanne Agenbroad

Melinda “Mindi” Suzanne Agenbroad went home to be with Jesus and her beloved daughters on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2026. She was born on June 11, 1951, in Eau Claire, WI and attended Eleva-Strum Central High School, Strum, WI.

Mindi was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered around family. She was blessed with two daughters, Karissa and Heather, whom she loved deeply. Though her heart endured great loss, her faith remained strong, and she found comfort in the love of her family and the beauty of God’s creation.

She enjoyed nature and loved spending time outdoors. Eagles especially brought her joy and wonder. Mindi also loved to travel and cherished the memories made along the way with those she loved most. Known for being neat and tidy, she took pride in caring for her home and creating a warm, welcoming space for family and friends.

Mindi will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will forever treasure the many fond memories shared with her — her kindness, laughter, strength, and love will remain in their hearts always.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Chelsea, Cambrie, Andrew, Kyel, Megan, and Jacob; her son-in-law, Paul; her great-grandchildren; her siblings; her close friend, Randy Tryggestad; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Karissa and Heather; her mother, LaVonne; her father, Donald; and her brother, Mark.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Dove Healthcare South in Eau Claire, WI for the compassion and care shown to Mindi during her time there.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
