Marjorie Beth Christianson

Marjorie Beth (Bruvold) Christianson of Mondovi, Wisconsin passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Heritage Court, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Marge was born August 21, 1939, in Mondovi, daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Johnson) Bruvold.

Marge was a lifetime member of Trinity of Norden Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, was active in Family League programs, LCR, LDR, ELCW, church circles, and she held several offices in each.

After graduating from Mondovi High School with the Class of 1957, Marjorie married Raymond Christianson on August 31, 1957, at Trinity of Norden Lutheran Church. To this union two sons were born. Marge worked side by side with her husband on the farm in Albion Township, Trempealeau County; one half mile from the Norden Church. After selling the cattle in 1997, Marge worked at the Mondovi Public School cafeteria, making, bringing and serving meals out at the Anthony School for the Kindergarten children. She enjoyed the little ones so much, and she also got to see all her grandchildren at the Mondovi School.

Marge is survived by her two sons, Rick (Sue) Christianson of Mondovi and Barry (Melissa) Christianson of Strum; her grandchildren, Ryan (Katie) Christianson, Brent (Briana) Christianson, Kelsey (Brad) Barneson, CJ (Ciara) Christianson and Drew (Elaina Gamroth) Christianson; her great grandchildren; Piper, Kyle and Lauren Christianson, Blake and Bella Christianson, Sutton, Everly and Adler Barneson, Bentley, Kaiser and Keelin Ray Christianson; and also, by several nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 2017; her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Anna Christianson; her two brothers, Alvin (Elma) Bruvold, Elmer (Margaret) Bruvold; and her three sisters, Agnes (Clayton) Kent, Dolores (Arlie) Bloss, and Ruth (Howard) Whipps.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Trinity of Norden Lutheran Church with Pastor Luke Pederson officiating. Burial will follow at the Trinity of Norden Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation at Talbot Family Funeral Home in Mondovi on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 PM and for one hour before the funeral at Trinity of Norden Lutheran Church.
