Lonnie Myron Passow, age 71 of Cochrane, WI passed away on September 3,2026. Lonnie was born on November 5, 1954, in Winona, MN to Myron and Delores (Stuber) Passow. He grew up on the family farm on Belvidere Ridge and attended Cochrane-Fountain City High School.
Lonnie spent most of his working years crisscrossing the county as an over-the-road truck driver. He proudly drove over 4 million “safe miles”. He also spent time farming, logging and working part time for his family and friend’s farms and businesses.
Lonnie’s pride and joys were his two sons, Lance and Logan. He instilled in them his passion for hunting and fishing on the river and looking for the next “Bullwinkle” buck in the woods. It brings comfort to know that Lonnie is reunited with his son, Logan who sadly passed away in 2018.
Lonnie will be remembered as a good-hearted man who was always proud of his boys, loved his family, and always had a funny story to tell.
Lonnie is survived by his son, Lance (Mirranda Styba) of Dodge. His two grandsons, Giffin and Owen. His siblings, Linda (David) Fetting, Jody Passow, Jeff (Sylvia) Passow, Robin (Tim) Hoesley, and Tom Passow. His stepbrother Mike (Sandy) Rebhahn, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Myron and Delores, his son Logan, and stepmother Phyllis Passow.
A gathering to celebrate Lonnie’s life will be held by his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers or gifts, his family asks that donations be made to the Logan Passow Memorial Scholarship at Arcadia Highschool, in Lonnie’s memory.
