Kenneth Brager

Kenneth Donald Brager, age 92, of the Town of Modena, Buffalo County passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2024, at the American Lutheran Home, Mondovi. He was born on August 29, 1931, in Modena, WI. He is the son of the late Arnie and Royla (Thompson) Brager. Ken attended Rockwell Grade School and Mondovi High School. On May 1, 1954, Ken was united in marriage to Elaine Reinhardt at Grace Lutheran Church in Nelson. To this beloved union, three daughters were born. Elaine preceded Ken in death on Christmas Day, 2018.

Ken and his wife worked side by side on the family farm. They were proud to have built not only a successful farm business but also created a loving family together. Ken will be long remembered for his deep devotion and love for his family… always supportive and always there for them all. He will be always remembered for his caring ways, good nature and his smile. Ken loved to build equipment for the farm and child size play buildings for his girls and grandchildren. He was a longtime and faithful member of Modena Lutheran Church. Ken and his wife enjoyed time together as they traveled to other States to visit family, most notably, Northern Minnesota, Washington, Wyoming and Florida. 

Ken will always be the true definition of what a husband, dad and grandfather should be. He will be missed by many and in the hearts of those that survive. Ken will be dearly missed by his daughters, Debbie (Brian) Roshell, Diane Senti and Renee (Perry) Pronschinske; 8 grandchildren, Wade Senti, Lindsay (Jeff) Seiple, Skylar Senti, Keaton Senti, Jason Pronschinske, Michaela Pronschinske, Joe Roshell and Jordan Roshell; one great-granddaughter Harper Elizabeth Seiple. His brother Lyle (Anita) Brager, sister Leona Christopherson. Also, by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife Elaine of 64 years, and his sisters Anita Ness and Lois Forster and his brothers-in-law, Arnold Ness, Alvin Christopherson and Francis Forster. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Modena Lutheran Church, Modena, WI with Gary Preston, S.A.M. and Bonnie Isaacson, S.A.M. officiating. Burial will follow at Modena Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Mondovi Chapel and again at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
