Joshua "Josh" Weber

Joshua S. Weber, 37, Lookout, passed unexpectedly Thursday evening, August 13, 2026. The son of Greg and Diane (Bloom) Weber was born April 14, 1989, in Eau Claire and grew up in Gilmanton, WI.

Josh went to school and worked in the Gilmanton area his whole life and was very proud to be a local. Josh was a hardworking and dedicated man. He owned his own business, Weber’s Welding and Custom Builds, and he took an incredible amount of pride in his work. He was proud of the Weber Farm and often had animals that he raised either at the farm or at his home.

To say Josh was an avid outdoor sportsman would be the understatement of the year. Josh enjoyed being on the water and loved taking his girls out on the river, going out on the ice with the guys, and doing the walleye run with his brother. Fall meant the start of deer season which was his happiest time of year. Josh was constantly tracking his deer cameras and notifying all his family and friends of the deer movements, celebrating all the successful harvests of not only his hunts but everyone around him, and enjoying all the time spent with hunting buddies all season long.

Family though was most important to Josh. Josh was extremely proud of his daughters and their accomplishments. He was excited to watch their games and musicals and to see all their milestones. He loved to play cards at night when family was in town and play cornhole with his dad and brother. Josh will forever be remembered for his big-hearted laugh that could be heard across the room.

Josh will be deeply missed by, his parents Greg and Diane Weber, Lookout; his daughters, Addison, Evansville and Kaydence, Waumandee; his brother, Jason (Stacey) Weber, Appleton; his nieces, Leslie and Sadie; his nephews, Colton, Jaxson and Lincoln; special friend, Kelsie Knops (and daughter Brynlee), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter and Orma (Peterson) Weber and Lyle and Marjorie (Helwig) Bloom, uncles; Brian Weber and Ron Porath, aunt; Sandra Bloom.

A Celebration of Josh’s Life will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Talbot Family Funeral Home – Mondovi Chapel. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Talbot’s from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
