John N Steiner

John N. Steiner, age 61, of Gilmanton, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Mayo Health System, Osseo.

He was born the son of Robert N. and Betty J. (Klopp) Steiner in Mondovi on October 24, 1964.

On April 14, 1984, John took the hand of his high school sweetheart, Ann Bjorgo, as they became husband and wife at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gilmanton.  To this union, they were blessed with three sons. 

John will be deeply and forever missed by his beloved wife of 42 years, Ann; sons, Derek Steiner, Drew Steiner and Dylan (Cheyenne) Steiner; his precious and adored grandchildren, Hattie, Wade, Eve and Benson Steiner; sisters, Rita (Rich) Hayter and Julie (Jeff) Kacures; brothers in law, Gary (Lynne) Bjorgo and Mark (Julie) Bjorgo; also by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, Bob and Betty, John was preceded in death by a precious grandson, Conrad Steiner; sister and brother in law, Mary Jane and Bill Lisowski and parents in law, Iner and Edna Bjorgo.

Funeral services for John will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Mondovi with Pastor Luke Pederson officiating.  A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the our of the service.   

Burial will be held at a later date at Gilmanton Cemetery.
