Joan Mary Timm

Joan Mary Timm, age 81 of Eleva, WI passed away at Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, WI on August 20, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on September 19, 1944, to Peter and Stella (Sather) Peterson on their 13th Anniversary. On May 15, 1965, she was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Timm for 59 years and raised two children. Joan worked at many different factories but ended her career at Phillips Plastics. She loved going on adventures with Bob, watching TV, going to thrift sales, getting together with family for lunch at the casino.

Joan is survived by son, Robert (Sue) Timm, daughter Rhonda (Gary) Hoverson, grandchildren, Tim (Christine) Hoverson, and Aggie (Rachel) Timm. Great grandchildren, Riley and Allison Hoverson, and Isaac Fiedler. Sisters, Doris Prissel, Barb Charpentier, and sister in-laws, Sandy Schuch, Grace Peterson, Donna Peterson, and Mavis Storberg, and brother-in-law, Orville Timm. Also, by many nieces, and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, grandson Cody Timm, sister Carol, brothers Howard, Merle, and Duane. Brother in-laws, George, Bill, Jim, Donny, Alvin, Dick, Duane, and Orville. Sister-in-laws, Bev, Doris, Norma, Mary, Marge, and Bernice. Nephew, Rick and niece, Monica. Also, by her father and mother-in-law, Otto and Anna Timm.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Mayo Clinic for taking good care of her and getting her to see her new great grandchild before she passed.

A memorial gathering will be held at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church in Eleva, WI on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 9:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Talbot Family Funeral Homes of Mondovi, WI assisted the family. www.talbotfuneralhomes.com
