In Loving Memory of Jaimie Danial Breitung
Jaimie Danial Breitung, age 62, passed away peacefully in his home on August 1st, 2026. He was born on September 18, 1963, along with his twin sister Connie, in Pepin, Wisconsin to parents Donald “Catfish” Breitung, and Dixie Louise Duflo.
Jaimie lived life with a spirit that could never be tamed. He was funny, loud, loving, and incredibly talented and intelligent. Jaimie met his soulmate Theresa in Wabasha, Minnesota while working at the Anderson House. They went on to marry on May 30, 1992, and had three beautiful children, and nine grandchildren together.
Jaimie will be remembered for his contagious laugh, his generous heart, his fierce independence, and his unconditional love for his family. While his absence leaves an ache that worlds cannot heal, his stories, his lessons, and the memories he created will live in the hearts of his family and friends.
Jaimie is lovingly survived by his children, Angelique Bloom (Elisha), Ki’Ana Breitung (Ashley), Dammian Breitung (Ashley), three step children, Michelle Birkeneder (James), Becky Birkeneder (Mark), Robert Birkeneder (Amanda), and his grandchildren, Kalaira, Nevaeh, Alaina, Ryland, Jasper, Rose, Triston, Trent, and Skylee.
Jaimie was united in death with his beloved wife Theresa Breitung, his parents Donald “ Catfish” Breitung and Dixie Louise Duflo, his bonus mom Verna Burchard, his brother Russell Breitung, his sister Leila Breitung, his granddaughter Ashley Symington, his grandson Carson James Triggs, his grandson Antoine Tyrone Bethel, three children, and four grandchildren. A celebration of Life will be held at the Lions’ Club in Pepin, Wisconsin on August 29 at 2:00 p.m. Burial services to unite Jaimie and Theresa will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin.
