Helen Patricia Koch

Helen Patricia Koch, age 53, of Alma, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in Lacrosse, WI. Helen was born on November 26, 1967, in Wabasha, MN. Helen graduated from Alma High school. Helen was a nurse’s aide for 20 years or more. Helen was united in marriage to Charles Koch on October 10, 1987, in Lake City, MN. They met at Charlie’s father’s bait shop in Nelson, WI. And fell in love and their love grew every day after. They reside in Alma WI and raised two beautiful children whom she adored along with her 3 grandchildren that gave her the greatest joy and Helen will be deeply missed by them. Helen was a kind, loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved spending time and making memories outdoors, camping and fishing with family. Her animals were a huge part of her life and gave her great joy. Helen was loved by all and will be extremely missed. Helen is survived by her husband Charles Koch of 37 years, their two children, Ashley Moham (Patrick) and Charles Koch of Alma WI. Granddaughters, Alexis Koch and Hailey Koch; Grandson, Hunter Moham; Brothers Roger (Margie) Stewart of Wheeler and Ralph Stewart of Alma; sisters Vivian Reinardy of Hastings, MN, Maxine Stewart of Rockford IL and Linda Loewenhagen of Alma along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. In addition to her parents Sylvia and Gale Stewart, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters Loretta Stewart, Barbara Biskupski, Debra Stewart and Virginia * Stewart; Brothers, Steven, Claire and Gerald Stewart. A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Porcupine Cemetery in Arkansaw. Following the service, family and friends are welcome to come and celebrate Helen’s life at their home W1701 Crane Trail, Alma WI 54610. In lieu of flowers donations be made to The Koch family.
