Gregory Dale Switzer

Gregory Dale Switzer, age 67, of Mondovi, WI, passed away on December 2, 2025, at his home. Greg was born on February 12, 1958, in Adams, MN, to Dale and Aileen (Shaw) Switzer. He grew up in the Elkton and Adams areas and attended Southland Schools. After graduating, he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Throughout his life, Greg worked a variety of jobs and was always willing to lend a hand where it was needed. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, and he loved working with his hands. He was also a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan, cheering them on through every season. Greg married Jeanette (Juenger) in May of 1985, and together they had two children, Kellie and Korey, but later divorced. In the fall of 2003, he married Peggy (Hansen), and together they shared 22 years of marriage. Through this marriage, Greg became part of a blended family that included Peggy’s children—Travis, Tristan, Josh, Jessica, and Gary. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; his children, Kellie (Tyler) Bachtle and Korey (Christian) Kleinow; and his three grandsons. He is also survived by his three siblings, Janice (Roger) Helle, Evonne Hutchens, and Bradley Switzer, as well as extended family through his marriage to Peggy. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Aileen Switzer; his brothers Keith Switzer and Dennis Switzer; his half-brother Gerald Shaw; and his sisters Mary (Ron) Mulholland, Renae (Ron) Kasel, and Diane (Ron) Harvey. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help others, his love of the outdoors, and the memories he leaves with those who knew him. There will be no formal services at this time.
