Florence Marie Schultz, age 92, of Buffalo City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Sugar Loaf Senior Living in Winona.
She was born on March 19, 1930 in Buffalo City, the daughter to the late Hawkin and Elfa (Korb) Rogneby.
Florence was a graduate of the Cochrane High School.
On December 12, 1954, Florence was united in marriage to Carl Schultz at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. To this union, three daughters were born. Carl preceded Florence in death on September 5, 2012.
Florence was a longtime and faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church in Cochrane.
For short periods of time during her marriage, Florence worked outside of her home, but her passion was to be the most loving homemaker possible to her husband and her three girls. Her entire family meant the world to her and she cherished the time spent with them.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Sue (Dean) Becker, Cindy (Bob Schmidt) Grable all of Buffalo City and Lori LaDuke of Texas; two grandsons, Josh and Jared LaDuke; one great grandson, Talon LaDuke; two brothers, Glenn and Robert Rogneby; sister, Genevieve Newmann; also by many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Besides her parents and husband, Carl, Florence was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Roger Rogneby and her sister, Connie Schollmeier.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Wilde officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Buffalo City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service at the church.
