David Larson

David Larson, age 83, of the Town of Pleasant Valley, Eau Claire County, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at his home with his loving family at his side.

He was born in Mondovi on August 17, 1942 and was the son of John L. and Millie (Oas) Larson.

David attended Mondovi High School, graduating with the class of 1960. During his childhood and adolescence, he would return from school to help his dad and family on their dairy farm in the Town of Drammen.

On July 21, 1962, David was united in marriage to the love of his life, Judith Severson and to this union, four children were born.

David worked at the Mondovi Locker plant from 1963 to 1978. He learned many talents for processing meat and was the assistant manager the last few years. He passed those skills down to the future generations.

In 1971, David purchased a hobby farm and raised Registered Hereford Cattle. He later sold it and purchased a dairy farm in 1977. He proudly cared for the land, cattle, and established his grade A dairy farm.

David was never afraid of a hard and honest day of work. He enjoyed helping family and friends and liked to tinker in the shed on machinery. He took pride having a tidy farm and everything he owned was well-cared for. In his later years, David found great pride, joy, and love for his grandchildren.

David will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 64 years, Judith; his children, Dean Larson, Dale (Ann) Larson, Jerry (Kelly) Larson, and Jody (Jackie) Larson; his grandchildren, John Larson, Kayla (Tommy) Larson, Jenna (Aaron) Seipel, Brendin Larson, Bryce Larson, Justin Larson, Kaydence Brorson, and Brayden Brorson; his great grandchildren, Caelan Seipel and Macksen Seipel; his siblings, Melvin (Delores) Larson, Audrey Myhre, Noble (Jenny) Larson; and his in-laws Miohne (Gus) Nichols, Dennis Meyer, Delores Larson and Lois Larson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers; his sisters, and his great granddaughter, Karsyn Seipel.
