Connie Lee (Doerr) Sayler, 68, passed from the loving arms of her family into the welcoming arms of her Heavenly Father, February 4th, 2021 at her home. A small family service will be held at 11 am Monday, February 8th, 2021 at Talbot Funeral home for Connie's immediate family. Connie was born May 23, 1952 in Riverdale, ND. The daughter of Reynold Doerr and Irene Lund and step daughter of Harriet Doerr. She lived with her family in Riverdale, Rugby, Fargo, then settled in Underwood, ND, where she graduated high school in 1971. In 1972 Connie married Roger Sayler and soon after welcomed her cherished daughter Stacy Lynn Sayler. The new family moved to New Hampshire in 1973 where Connie cared for her daughter and worked for Dartmouth College. In 1976, Connie and Stacy moved closer to family in Bismarck, ND to make a home for themselves. While caring for her daughter Connie was able to work toward the job she was most proud of, CNA for Med Center One Hospital. Shortly after Stacy moved to Fountain City, WI, Connie followed in 2007 just in time for the birth of her first grandchild, Ella (Moon). Connie remained just blocks from Stacy until her passing.
Connie loved to bake as much as everyone loved to eat her tasty treats. She spent everyday with her grandchildren, Ella, Miles and Lucas, they were her treasure. Connie enjoyed traveling with family and friends and attended many Willie Nelson concerts, her all time favorite artist.
Connie is survived by her daughter and son-In-law, Stacy and Mike Walth. Her precious grandchildren Ella, Miles, and Lucas Walth. Her beloved kittens, Ash and Cinder, her granddog Molly. Fountain City, WI. Her Brother, Robert Doerr, Hayden Lake, ID. Sisters Jackie Hager, Oceanside, CA, Nancy (Rich) Patnode, Lake Milton, OH, and Camey (Dave) Huncovsky, Dickenson, ND, Robin Kroeger, MO and brother in law Louis (Dorothy) Stengel,Underwood, ND. Her family was everything to Connie. She loved deeply and is mourned by all including her cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. With the addition of her favorite niece, Tarole whom she thought of like a daughter. (written by Tarole)
Connie is preceded in death and welcomed in heaven by; her father Reynold Doerr and Harriet Doerr, her mother Irene Doerr, her Sister Linda Stengal, and several Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, dogs and cats whom she loved dearly.
