Beverly Joan Halverson, age 84, beloved wife of the late Richard Lee Halverson, passed away peacefully at her residence in La Crescent, MN, on April 18, 2022. Beverly was born on January 15th, 1938, in Johnson, MN to Margaret and Walter Andrews. She graduated from Washington High School and worked for the state of Minnesota for 28 years. She was a member of the Lion’s Club for many years and had a deep love for adventure and exploration, traveling the United States and spending many summer weekends with Richard on their houseboat on the river. Above all Beverly was a devoted mother and grandmother who spent her life going out of her way to care for others.

Beverly is survived by her daughters; Laura (Robert) Zubiena and Deborah Letourneau, son; Russell (Jody) Letourneau, stepdaughters; Linda (Robert) Loper, Marilyn Uddin, Cindy Janssen, stepson Richard (Michelle) Halverson, grandchildren; Monique Rees, Heather Letourneau, Jacqueline Sokol, Nicole Krause, Zachary Letourneau, Chase Letourneau, Curtis Letourneau, 13 great-grandchildren, step grandchildren; Eric Uddin, Amin Uddin, Lindsay Schilling, Mike Schilling, Katie Tooley, Bobby Loper, Ben Halverson, Catherine Kabus, ,David Jansen, Taylor Jean. and many step great-grandchildren, sisters, Pearl and Ginny.

Besides her loving husband Richard, Beverly was predeceased by her parents, her son Peter Letourneau, and siblings, Cecilia, Bernie, Roger, her twin Shirley, and step grandson Blake Uddin.

A Celebration of Beverly and Richard’s lives will be held on June 5th from 11-3pm at Majestic Cove 7472 157th St. SE. Apple Valley, MN 55124
