Patricia Ann Garlick

Patricia Ann “Pat” Garlick, age 74, of Winona, formerly of Alma, passed away on Thursday, November 3 at Winona Community Memorial Hospital with her loving husband at her bedside. She was born on September 1, 1937 in Cochrane a daughter of Rolland and Eleanor (Reed) Zirzow. She attended Alma Schools, graduating as co-salutatorian with the class of 1955. While in school she was a member of the Alma musical quartette. Pat was an avid reader, with a very high intellect and was proud of being co-salutatorian of her senior class of Alma High School. She was known by many for her love of music and her beautiful voice Pat’s was a loving and caring mother and grandma and a truly and faithful, devoted wife. Pat will be forever missed by her loving husband of the past 51 years, Richard D. Garlick of Winona; her son and daughter in law, James and Cynthia Garlick of Burke, VA; one grandson, Austin James Garlick also of Burke VA; also by many close and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Patricia will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Bacon officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Buffalo City Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the memorial service.
