He was a 39 year employee of the Badger Foundry in Winona, retiring in 2009. Landon was a member of the Forrest-Gunderson-Klevgard American Legion of Gilmanton. Landon enjoyed many things in his lifetime, such as processing deer from a good hunt, vegetable gardening then canning the vegetables of the autumn harvest, fishing or hunkering down with a good ‘ol western movie.
