Kevin Schmidt

Kevin Schmidt unexpectedly passed away at his residence in Mondovi on Sunday April 26, 2020 at the age of 59. Kevin was born on August 13, 1960 and graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1978. He spent most of his lifetime in the Milwaukee area, but moved to Mondovi in 2012 to be closer to his children. Kevin, who his family and friends knew as “Beav”, worked many construction jobs during his lifetime. He was currently an employee at Builder’s Millwork in Mondovi. In 1991, he married Linda Pendergast and they were blessed with two children, Kevin and Nicole. Beav loved his kids more than anything in this world. Although they later divorced, Linda and Kevin remained good friends. Beav will be sadly missed by everyone he came in contact with. If you were fortunate to have met him, you instantly had a new friend. He was a kind, friendly, humble, and generous man. Beav was an avid Packer fan who proudly dressed in green and gold each Sunday they played. He also enjoyed playing cribbage and grilling out while having a cold beverage on his deck. Regardless of who stopped by, he would offer them food and drink. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Lee Schmidt. He is survived by his mother Nancy, son Kevin, and his daughter Nicole.
