Delores Bielefeldt

Delores Bielefeldt, age 86 of Fountain City, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at St. Michael’s Assisted Living in Fountain City. Delores was born on January 3, 1933 to Helmuth and Elfa (Michaels) Bielefeldt. Delores lived in the Twin Cities for 20 years. She worked as a waitress and also worked at a Twin Cities Hospital in their laundry department. Moving back to this area found Delores living in Wabasha and employed at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Wabasha. She was a giving lady and was always there for those in need. Surviving are her sister, Peggy Benoit of Fountain City; sister in law, Romelle Bielefeldt; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Delores was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Marvin, Melvin and David; 4 sisters, Mildred Adams, Bernice Jones, Inez Hilgert and Jane Lorenz. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma Chapel with Pastor Kenley Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Gilmanton Cemetery, Gilmanton, WI. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service all at the funeral home.
