Deborah Ann Wagner

Deborah Ann Wagner, age 55 of the Town of Nelson, Buffalo County, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Wabasha. She was born on May 13, 1959 in Wabasha, a daughter to Gary and Kat (Wolfe) Patraw. Deb attended and graduated from Alma Area Schools with the class of 1977. Later that year, Deb married John Wagner. Together they had one son, Michael. They later divorced. Deb was employed as a waitress at the former Bushy’s, now known as the Whitetail Bar, in Urne, WI and at Bouquets in Kellogg, MN. Most notably, Deb worked with her best friend and soul mate, Brian building grain boxes and will always be remembered as his best worker. Deb had various hobbies such as gardening and crochet. She graciously would make crocheted afgans for all those whom may have wanted one. Deb thoroughly enjoyed the treasured time she spent hunting and fishing with her dad. Deb loved children. She found delight taking care of and spending time with all of her nieces and nephews. Deborah will be sadly missed by her two sons, Michael Wagner of Eau Claire and Derek Weinrich of both MT and WI; granddaughter, Serena; her best friend and love of her life, Brian Weinrich of Nelson; her parents, Gary and Kat Patraw of Nelson; sister, Sherie O’Keefe of Alma; brothers, Jeff and Kevin Patraw both of Nelson; also by nieces, nephews, friends and her faithful companion, Londo her dog. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma Chapel with Pastor Joel Bacon officiating. Burial will follow at Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, WI. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday one hour prior to the service all at the funeral home.
