Catrina "Tina" Hurlburt

Catrina Marie “Tina” Hurlburt, age 48, of Eau Claire, formerly of Mondovi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Mayo Health Systems, Luther Campus from a heart attack. She was born on December 31, 1964 at the Durand Hospital, a daughter of Joan Bilderback Hurlburt and the late Orval Hurlburt. Following her time of education at Sacred Heart Catholic School to the 8th grade, Tina attended Mondovi High School, graduating with the class of 1983. Before Tina became disabled at the age of 23, she worked a number of years at the Coca-Cola bottling company in Eau Claire. Tina enjoyed doing and creating different crafts, such as crochet and embroidery and also keeping in touch with her many friends. After losing her eye sight in 2006, Tina spent many hours crocheting plastic hangers. Tina will be sadly missed by her mother, Joan of Mondovi; four siblings, Patrick his wife Cindy and son Eric of Mondovi, Veronica Wick and her husband Jeff their son Christopher and step daughter Miranda (Josh) Stratton of Gilmanton, Robert and his wife Julie and their children Brianna, Catherine and Alanna of Arcadia; Sara Hurlburt of Eau Claire; also by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceding Tina in death were her father Orval in 1986, grandparents, aunts and uncles. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Raj as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the hour of the mass at the church. The staff of Talbot Family Funeral Home/Scenic Rivers Cremation Center entrusted with arrangements.
