Bruce Katiepolt

Bruce Dean Katiepolt, age 75, of Alma, WI died Friday, May 10 2013 at Pepin Manor. He was born on July 26, 1937 in Whitehall, a son of the late Melvin and Eldora (Ringstad) Katiepolt. Bruce attended Alma Schools and graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1955. Bruce was a longtime employee of the Buffalo County Highway Department, a career that spanned 32 years. He retired at the end of 1997. Bruce, in his younger days, will be remembered for his outstanding abilities on the baseball field and the basketball court. He enjoyed time outside being part of nature by deer hunting or duck hunting. Bruce is survived by his brother, Gary Katiepolt of Holmen; niece, Leesa Katiepolt of Austin, MN; nephew Darin Katiepolt of Holmen; also by his community of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 11:00 AM at the Talbot Family funeral home, Alma chapel with Pastor Joel Bacon officiating. Burial will follow at the Tell cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday one hour prior to the service all at the funeral home.
