Belva R. Baures

Belva R. Baures, age 92, of Fountain City, WI passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Saint Anne’s of Winona. She was born on February 17, 1927, Fountain City, the daughter of Arthur and Leona (Blum) Wolfe. Belva married Raymond G. Baures and to this union six children were born. Belva’s love of children transcended from her family to the daycare that she ran from her home. To this day, she still had stayed in contact with some of the children she cared for. She enjoyed watching game shows on tv, working on word searches and had a love for Elvis and his music. She also enjoyed crocheting. Belva was an avid Packers Fan and watched the games at the Golden Frog with her friends; as well as a Badger’s and Brewer’s fan. Belva was a very special person and made the most of her 92 years on the Earth. She had a zest for life and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Belva loved everyone and everyone loved Belva. Belva will be sadly missed by her children, Diane (Tom) Lettner, John (Jani) Baures, Rick (Jeri) Baures, Sue (Bill) Dworschak and Brenda (Arnie) Ginther; 14 grandchildren; 25 and one on the way great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; son, Paul; 2 brothers and a sister. Belva’s wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her husband at Fountain City Cemetery. There will be no public services. The family would like to extended a special thank you to the staff at St. Anne’s, Winona Health Hospice for their loving care in Belva’s final days and especially, Traci Morken for her constant care and concern.
