Arde Orlen Bollinger

Arde Orlen Bollinger, age 80, of Gilmanton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 9, 1935 in Gilmanton to the late Leonard Lee and Nora (Peterson) Bollinger. Upon graduation, Arde joined and served our Country as a dedicated member of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict and was stationed aboard the USS Hamul. Arde was a two time elected County Board Member and was a proud lifetime member of the Forrest-Gunderson-Klevgard American Legion, Post 264 in Gilmanton and was a three time post commander. Arde enjoyed hunting, fishing both locally or during his annual trip with his family to Canada, sitting around a campfire, listening to music of local bands, especially The Classics, singing, and dancing the jitterbug with his wife. He was a true, genuine and loving husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa and his memory will never leave the hearts of those blessed to know him.
