Amy Sue Osborn, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 20, 2019 at her home in Durand. Amy was born on November 2, 1979 in Wabasha, MN to Terry Osborn and Judy (McQuiston) Osborn. In her early years, Amy and her family lived in Alma. In 1989, Amy moved to Nelson to be with her mom and brother. Amy attended and graduated from Durand High School with the class of 1998. In 2006, Amy welcomed a daughter, Katelyn and then in 2012 her son Jase in to her life. Amy and her children moved to Durand in 2015. She worked several years at the Pepin Manor as a CNA. Amy later took time to stay home and care for her children. She enjoyed swimming, playing games, fishing, grill outs and spending time with her family especially her two precious children. Amy will be sadly missed by her two children, Katelyn and Jase; her mother, Judy Meyers of Nelson; her father, Terry Osborn of Eau Claire; brothers, John (Kim) McQuiston of Spring Valley, WI, Joseph Meyers of Wabasha, Timothy Meyers of Durand, James Meyers of Nelson and Andy Meyers of Stockholm; sister, Tina Meyers of Nelson; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Preceding Amy in death were her Maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Marjorie McQuiston; Paternal grandparents, Gerald and Olga Osborn; step father, Joseph W. Meyers; several aunts, uncles and her niece, Jessica McQuiston. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma Chapel. There are no formal funeral services to be held at this time.
