Marcella M. Busch

Marcella M. Busch, age 95 of Alma passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the American Lutheran Home, Mondovi. She was born on November 11, 1922 in the Town of Mondovi, the daughter of Ben and Emma (Schultz) Moy. Marcella graduated from Gilmanton High School and later graduated from the Normal in Alma and taught at Modena. On November 24, 1945, Marcella and Orville Busch were united in marriage and to this union, three sons were born. They were able to share 69 years together before Orville's passing on January 17, 2015. Marcella loved ceramics, baking and cooking and especially gardening and canning. She also enjoyed playing piano and organ. Marcella was a woman with a humane heart and loved cats, dogs and birds. She had an incredible work ethic and a love for her entire family. Marcella will be sadly missed by her sons, Mark (Glenda) of Mondovi and David (Tessi) of Cochrane; four grandchildren, Kevin (Wendy), Heidi (Andy) Michels, Melissa (Stephen) Deter and Matt (Nikki); six great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Landry, Ellis, Parker, Carson and Natalie; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville; son, Larry and brothers, Herb and Gerald Moy. Funeral service for Marcella will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at Lyster Lutheran Church, Town of Nelson with Pastor Michael Vetsch officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 4:00 pm ending with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Alma Chapel. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
