Judith Breidung

Judith J. “Judy” Breidung, age 73 of Pepin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 11. 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Wabasha, MN. She was born on February 7, 1945 in Durand, the daughter of Clinton and Gladys (Dale) Herried. Judy graduated from Durand High School and then went to Beauty School in Eau Claire. She married David Breidung in 1965. Judy has fought the good fight, battling and living with diabetes since the age of 4 and heart problems all her life. She will be sadly missed by her husband, David; children, Tim (Janette) and Tamala (Dan); grandchild, Sam Rustad (Misty); great-granddaughter, Kylie; sister, Patricia (John) Curnow; nieces and nephews; in-laws; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Toni in 1970; sister, Leatrice and many fur-babies. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Nelson on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. David Peters. Burial to immediately follow at Nelson Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Alma Chapel on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5-7 pm and then again one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
